Volunteer With Us!

Events - Avenue for the Arts hosts several events each year including
The Market, Free Radical, Urban Lights, and Art.Downtown.
Volunteers like you do everything from promotions and planning to
directing guests and helping with
set-up and tear-down. Events can be  a one-day time commitment and a
chance to meet tons of new people!

Promotions - There is always something going on at Avenue for the
Arts. From simply sharing our events on Facebook to putting up fliers
and handing out postcards, we need volunteers to help spread the word.
If you’re outgoing and love to smile, this is a great volunteer
opportunity for you!

Advisory Committee - This group of people helps to shape the events
and activities of Avenue for the Arts. If you are passionate about art
and community, we want you! Bring your ideas to monthly meetings and
join us as we find great new ways to engage our neighbors and artists.

Volunteers are vital to Avenue
for the Arts. If you have a skill or a great idea that would benefit
the community we want to hear from you!

Why Volunteer?

Avenue for the Arts helps shape the creative
community on South Division. Community
members do this by helping to select public
artworks, working on neighborhood beautification projects and planning
popular local art events.

Volunteering with Avenue for the Arts gives you the opportunity to be
involved in the great changes that are happening on S. Division. You
will meet people involved in the local arts community, share your
passion and feel great about giving your time and talents to help
improve your local community. There are so many ways you can be
involved with Avenue for the Arts, whether you are looking to
volunteer for an afternoon, help plan an event,
or become a member of our Advisory Committee, we have something for everyone!
